Service Description
Our Grade 6–7 Volleyball Program is designed to build a strong foundation in the game while keeping athletes engaged, confident, and having fun. With guidance from our experienced coaching staff, the first part of each Train & Play session focuses on developing essential volleyball fundamentals. Athletes receive personalized feedback and skill progressions that help build confidence and a solid understanding of the game. The second part of each session shifts into fun, game-based play, where athletes get the chance to apply their skills in a lively, supportive environment. Through modified games and team play, athletes develop teamwork, decision-making, and a love for competition. This program is perfect for athletes looking to grow their skills, stay active, and enjoy volleyball in a positive, encouraging setting where learning and fun go hand in hand. If you would like your athlete to train twice per week, you may also book Fridays separately as these two sessions compliment each other well. 10 weeks: Wednesdays: 7:00-8:30 at Cinnabar Valley Elementary (January 14, 21, 28, Feb 4, 11, 18, 25, March 4, 11, April 1) Note: No sessions March 18th and 25th for Spring Break This is a great opportunity for young athletes to grow their skills, build teamwork, and prepare for the next level of play. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policies All policies below subject to change during unforeseen events (i.e. COVID-19) and will be dealt with on a case by case basis. We are here for the love of volleyball and will do whatever we can to make things work and have YOU happy! WEATHER POLICY – Sessions cancelled by Vancouver Island Volleyball Academy LTD. will be RESCHEDULED or ISSUED AS CREDIT FOR FUTURE USE back to the original item paid for (i.e. camp credits will apply to camps) MISSED CLASS POLICY – VIVA cannot be held responsible for any classes that an athlete misses for any reason. CLASS SKILL LEVEL POLICY – VIVA cannot guarantee the skill level of each cohort. Athletes will be asked to accommodate a switch to a different class in order to try and keep a consistent skill level in each cohort. More than 10 days before the start date: A 10% administrative cancellation fee will apply. 5–9 days before the start date: A 50% cancellation fee will apply. Within 4 days of the start date: The registration fee is non-refundable. This policy allows us to confirm facility rentals, staffing, and program planning in advance. Thank you for your understanding and support. Refund Exception In the case of withdrawal due to illness or injury, a doctor’s note is required. If the withdrawal occurs before the program begins, a refund will be issued minus a 10% administrative fee. If the withdrawal occurs after the program has started, the refund will be prorated based on the number of sessions completed, plus a 10% administrative fee.
