U16 Girls Club Tryout Registration

Service Description
Tryouts will take place on Friday December 5th and Saturday December 6th at Cedar Elementary School. Athletes will be assigned to specific time slots and grouped into smaller cohorts so our coaching staff can get a thorough look at each athlete. Once registered, please keep an eye on your inbox, you’ll receive an email with your exact tryout time. During tryouts, athletes will be given a number and taken through a series of drills, gameplay situations, and evaluations focused on skill, athleticism, attitude and teamwork. Each athlete will take part in two tryout sessions to showcase their abilities and potential fit within a VIVA team. Following the second tryout, there will be a selection process, and offers will be sent out shortly after to successful athletes who will be invited to join our U16 VIVA Volleyball Team. Tryout groups will run throughout the evening on Friday between 5:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and on Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Each tryout will be 1.5 hours. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policies All policies below subject to change during unforeseen events (i.e. COVID-19) and will be dealt with on a case by case basis. We are here for the love of volleyball and will do whatever we can to make things work and have YOU happy! WEATHER POLICY – Sessions cancelled by Vancouver Island Volleyball Academy LTD. will be RESCHEDULED or ISSUED AS CREDIT FOR FUTURE USE back to the original item paid for (i.e. camp credits will apply to camps) MISSED CLASS POLICY – VIVA cannot be held responsible for any classes that an athlete misses for any reason. CLASS SKILL LEVEL POLICY – VIVA cannot guarantee the skill level of each cohort. Athletes will be asked to accommodate a switch to a different class in order to try and keep a consistent skill level in each cohort. More than 10 days cancellation notice - 10% fee will be charged. Between 9 days - 5 days cancellation notice - 50% fee will be charged. Less than 5 days cancellation notice - full amount is forfeited. Refund Exception If an athlete must cancel due to illness or injury, a doctor's note must be provided and the full fee amount will be refunded.
