Service Description
Volleyball is even more fun when you learn it together! VolleyBuds: My Grown-Up & Me is a fun, high-energy program where Grade 3β5 athletes hit the court alongside a grown-up! Whether itβs a parent, grandparent, guardian, aunt, uncle, or sibling 16+ or another special adult, each pair will learn, play, and have fun together. Sessions will introduce the fundamentals of volleyball through age-appropriate skill development, partner activities, games, and plenty of laughs. Athletes and their grown-ups will work on passing, setting, serving, movement, coordination, teamwork, and communication, all while being active together. No volleyball experience is needed for either VolleyBud! The focus is on having fun, learning new skills, building confidence, showing great sportsmanship, and creating special memories together. 7 weeks: Tuesdays 5:00 - 6:15 at Rutherford Elementary Sept 15, 22, 29, Oct 6, 13, 20, 27 The registration fee includes both participants, plus a VIVA T-shirt for each VolleyBud! π VolleyBuds Guidelines π -Register as one athlete + one grown-up. -The same pair should attend each week whenever possible. -An occasional substitute grown-up is welcome with prior approval and a completed waiver. -This is a partner program, athletes and grown-ups cannot participate solo. No volleyball experience needed, just come ready to learn, play, and have fun together!

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policies All policies below subject to change during unforeseen events (i.e. COVID-19) and will be dealt with on a case by case basis. We are here for the love of volleyball and will do whatever we can to make things work and have YOU happy! WEATHER POLICY β Sessions cancelled by Vancouver Island Volleyball Academy LTD. will be RESCHEDULED or ISSUED AS CREDIT FOR FUTURE USE back to the original item paid for (i.e. camp credits will apply to camps) MISSED CLASS POLICY β VIVA cannot be held responsible for any classes that an athlete misses for any reason. CLASS SKILL LEVEL POLICY β VIVA cannot guarantee the skill level of each cohort. Athletes will be asked to accommodate a switch to a different class in order to try and keep a consistent skill level in each cohort. More than 10 days cancellation notice - 10% fee will be charged. Between 9 days - 5 days cancellation notice - 50% fee will be charged. Less than 5 days cancellation notice - full amount is forfeited. Refund Exception If an athlete must cancel due to illness or injury, a doctor's note must be provided and the full fee amount will be refunded.
